Lomography: July 2010

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

Yesterday I finally went and bought myself a new negative scanner. I also just got home from a trip to Brooklyn, so needless to say, I’ve got some new medium-format photos in the mix. I am concealing some select photos between now and the art show in November, but here’s a few that I will go ahead and debut right now. The first is from an experiment where I put my Diana in a ziploc bag, and threw it in the swimming pool. Also, we saw too many ghost-bikes in Brooklyn, creepy.

The last few months, in photos.

I love shooting photos with 120 film, especially during the summer. I post new photos every month or so, after I manage to use a roll of film, have it processed, and scanned. It’s all very time-consuming, but it makes the final product of these images much more anticipated. Here’s some photos from my most recent rolls. Maybe some of these will end up in my photo show in November.

Easter Cookout

Friday, April 9th, 2010

Here are some videos and photos from this past Sunday’s house show cookout. Some of these were taken by me, my girlfriend, and Zach, who shot the videos also. For the info on the event, see this post.

Some new photos, for the sake of updates.

Photos from the last 2 Months

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Here’s a handful of photos that I recently had processed, and scanned (thanks to Neff). I’m pretty pumped about finding a new color lab here in Akron, that will cross-process my slide film, and I don’t have to explain it to them every time, not to mention they have it done the next day. Some of these are from our recent January trip to Denver, which was spent with some very good friends that we don’t see enough.
