Sprocket Rocket Visits Western Pennsylvania

My girlfriend planned a surprise trip for my birthday, where we rented a cabin for three days, took a day-tour of Frank lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, and spent the rest of the weekend hiking around Ohiopyle. Woodgrain PX 680
Today I went on a little photo excursion to capture a spot a saw while I was driving yesterday. I figured it was time to break out this special film that’s been sitting in my fridge since Christmas: Impossible Project’s PX 680 American Woods Edition. It’s no secret that I’ve got a thing for woodgrain, and it looks so nice alongside this wintery scene.
Sleep Experiments
I’ll be headed to Pittsburgh tonight to celebrate the release of their debut full-length with my friends in Sleep Experiments. When I started working on the artwork, they specifically requested that I use these underwater photographs that I took with my Diana. I think the photos are well suited for their dreamy sounds. Physical copies on CD & LP will be available at the show; the colored vinyl edition is slightly delayed, but black will be available. Or you can purchase the new album digitally via Bandcamp.
