Gifts From Enola – YESSS

Lindsay and Joel at The Mylene Sheath just shipped me my copies of this beast of a record. These have been in the making for quite a while, and I really couldn’t be more pleased with the result. The record label really was a dream to work with, they put the records on two different color variations of wax, really limited edition, and let us go all out with the artwork. The package for the Vinyl is a gatefold, double 12″, and the CD is a non-conventional, rectangular Wallet. Both are printed on really high quality glossy stock, and the label RULED and let us add a Spot-Matte Strikethrough finish. We used this spot matte to “invisibly” incorporate the lyrics into the package. The printer really came through on the Spot-Matte. I tried to capture this with some glares in the photo from my dining room window. I’ll photograph them soon in a studio, with good lighting, and you can see everything in the portfolio. But until then, look at these, and I highly recommend going HERE, and picking up a copy.

Gifts from Enola T-Shirt

Working on re-purposing my favorite panel from Gifts from Enola‘s album art, to be printed on a shirt, for their upcoming 90 day summer tour. Sick. Also, just got a roll of lomo film processed. I need to find a place to scan the film, to get in on the computer. The tiny little positives are making me antsy.

Relient K

Well, I couldn’t disclose this until today. But the last week or so I have put in a lot of hours working on shirts for Relient K. We just got 5 shirts immediately accepted by the band, and are revising two more for printing at a later date. Above is one of the five, that I did the most work on myself.

Earth Day

Happy Earth Day! Today I have spent nearly the entire day working on a handful of new t-shirt designs. I can’t disclose right now who they are for, nor can I show you the designs, because they are still in progress. But above is a tiny crop of one of the shirts. Here’s to hoping all of these turn out well, and are well received!

The Red Team

Today I was given the printed copies of a CD I did last month, pro bono. (Note: don’t ask me to do work for free.) The Red Team is Ashland’s First United Methodist Church’s worship band. It was made to look like an old hymnal, and even the texture of the printed paper slightly hints at the visible texture.
