Moved!

I just finished moving my stuff into my new apartment in Pittsburgh. This is definitely the best apartment I have ever lived in. I’d rather not fill my blog up with photos of the entire apartment, but I want to post just a couple of my tiny little closet room. It’s really cozy, and I love it. I also love that it keeps me out in the rest of the house as well. We have a great living room, tons of space for guests to sleep (come visit!), a killer roof that you can get on, and three fantastic roommates. I am excited for when Danny gets home from tour in Europe, so we’ll all be together.

Moving…

Wherever I live, I need a space that allows me to be creative. Usually I have a desk, that I will cover with little things that are inspirational to me. I am about to move out of Ashland, and I wanted to photo-document this space, in Ashland. As it is now cleaned off and gone. I hate the packing and moving part of this, but I can’t wait to get out of here. I am ready for a change of scenery, and to start a new chapter in my life. I am moving back to Pittsburgh, and am ready to take on the design world full force, as well as getting in some good summer bike rides, and lots of hang outs with some really close friends.

Bikes! Bikes! Bikes!

Finally finished up everything on this, that I’ve been working on for over a year now. Had some photo equipment borrowed from Tim, to shoot some portfolio pieces for the Three Bears site, so I figured I’d grab a couple good quality photos of this as well. Been building this up over a year when I bought a bunch of stock parts last year. It’s an SE Lager Track frame, and most recently added is the Wood Grain Vinyl Saddle, custom made by my friend Brandi. KMC just started making mint green chains, so I’m considering one, but not sure if I want it yet. I’ll probably post this up on Fixed Gear Gallery sometime soon, with full specs, and some more photos.

on the side of the road…

Last night Katie and I scored this gem on the side of the road, just blocks from her house. It’s a fantastic old Hi-Fidelity record player. It has a radio and cassette deck in addition to the Phonograph. Sick. As if I don’t have enough record players already (a not-as-awesome Hi-Fi, my favorite direct drive, a belt drive, and the amazing Portable Zenith that I got Katie for Christmas). But this was too good to pass up.
