February, 1878 Official Music Video

Today, mewithoutYou premiered their official music video for February, 1878. If you watch closely, you’ll see a good handful of projects I worked on, scattered throughout the video. I even make a small appearance around 1:25, as I spent a couple of days on the road with them last March, working directly to speed up the design process. The band is currently offering an HD download of the video, in exchange for donations. Stream the video below:

Adios, 2012

2012 has been my best year yet, and brought forth some incredible opportunities. I’m very, very thankful for the great people I’ve worked with over the past year. In 2011, I couldn’t have even dreamed of some of the projects I’d have the chance to work on, and people I’d be able to collaborate with. Here’s to hoping 2013 is just as good.

Blood Brother is Premiering at Sundance!

I’m super excited for all of my friends who worked with on the documentary film Blood Brother, and very proud to have been a small-part of the project. The lineup for Sundance Film Festival was announced yesterday, and the film was one of the 16 selected to premiere at the festival. The crew is currently taking donations to get Steve & Danny to the festival, and gain publicity for the film.

Good Fucking Design Advice

Good Fucking Design Advice is basically one of the coolest websites ever; mix a little humor and expletives, and, well… it’s got my approval. I had the pleasure of meeting some of the dudes behind GFDA at WMC Fest, and just found this video online. I was tickled when I saw myself in there, so I had to post it – you can see me with my buddy Andy Hendricks wearing blue shirts around 0:15.

Josh Ritter – New Years

Josh Ritter & the Royal City Band played a special show on New Years Eve this year, and I was contacted to submit artwork for the projected back-drop for the song Wolves. Josh’s manager asked that I send them the moon from the shirt I designed for them last year. The first photo is from soundcheck (by Brian) and the second from the performance (by Rich), and lastly is a little peak into the actual imagery I sent.
