Art in the Square

Saturday, August 28th, 2010

I just dropped by Akron’s Annual Art in the Square, and found Kim (and her adorable dog), who is selling the new shirts that Cheryl and I created for the event. Cheryl did the illustration, and I handled the text/layout. Adam at Revival did the printing. Also, several of my friends are vendors, so I snapped a photo of some cards I recently made for Traci, which are alongside the cards I made for Brian.

As part of Crafty Mart two weeks ago, I debuted a new handmade item for sale. These little guys ended up selling so well, that I have made a handful more, and will be selling them in a few venues. Revival will be carrying these, for those in the Akron area. Additionally, we will now have them for sale in Our New Online Store. Go check ‘em out HERE!

No Computer for a few days

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

I didn’t have my computer for almost a week. Needless to say I was pretty incognito from this blog for that reason. I even lost quite a few files that I can’t replace. But now that I have it back, up and running again, upgraded to CS4, and tackling everything I had to postpone.

While my computer was out, I was pretty happy about staying away from the glowing box. I did some reading, picture taking, and check this out: crafting. I needle-felted a slue of rain drops, and sewed a cloud shape pillow. Now this is dangling pretty in our window. Ashley and I also had a photoshoot with it.
