Josh Ritter Evil Eye Pins

Along with the posters I made for Josh Ritter, based on the song Evil Eye, his merchandise manager, the always awesome Brian Stowell, had the idea to also make die-cast lapel pins. The result are these: a silver & blue pin, and an antiqued-bronze with black pin. I grew up collecting enamel-pins as a kid, so I was stoked that my artwork ended up in this form! They are now available in Josh’s online store, in silver or gold.

Josh Ritter Ohio Shows this Weekend

I’ll be in Cincinnati & Columbus this weekend with the Josh Ritter crew, selling these special-edition posters I designed for the shows in my home-state. The image is based on the new song Evil Eye, and they are limited to less than 100, hand-printed copies each! Go check out Josh’s website to read more, and see some additional process photos.

RecordPress WordPress Theme

RecordPress is a new project that I designed, along with the developing mastery of Nicholas Moegly. It’s a WordPress theme for record collectors.

Upon installing, all you have to do is punch in the album information, and it creates an alphabetized list for you. You can even upload the cover art, and photos of your records to display your color variants. You can also upload a custom header image to personalize the page. All hosted on your own domain, so you don’t have to worry about updating a third-party website. I’ve been testing it out myself, and have a lot of my collection left to add. Check out my list. This project was hugely inspired by Brian Stowell’s Play this Record; thanks for your help, Brian!

It’s available for purchase, here, for just $19.99.

Cloudkicker Hoodies

I met up with Ben Sharp when I was passing through Columbus last week, and we came up with some new ideas for Cloudkicker. Considering the chilly weather, Ben wanted to do a hoodie based on the Fade artwork. So I made this, with some new typography. You can order one now on Bandcamp. If you’re a Cloudkicker fan, be on the lookout, because we’re already working on our next project.

Cloudkicker – Fade

The physical formats of Cloudkicker‘s latest LP, Fade, are finally done and now shipping. Ben Sharp just sent me these photos while I await my copies. We did two color-variations of vinyl; 100 on clear orange, and 400 on ultra-clear. The CD edition comes with a 12-panel folded insert/poster, and we also did a small run of cassettes that include a full-color j-card and white tapes. Head on over to Bandcamp to pick up a copy.
