Trouble Books & Mark McGuire

Here’s the cover for the new collaboration record between Trouble Books & EmeraldsMark McGuire. I was responsible for the layout & photography, with Keith’s art direction, and the amazing cover painting is by our friend Jacob Feige. Look for the LP soon, from Bark & Hiss and Wagon. Gifts From Enola Spring Tour 2011

I’ve mentioned this tour quite a few times, as I’ve been working away at the merch to sell. But now I’ll officially announce it to the world. I’ll be tour managing Gifts From Enola on their upcoming tour for the next five weeks. Starts tomorrow in Virginia Beach, VA. Can’t wait to see some old friends along the way. Check out the tour-dates, here. And come hang if you’re nearby!

Trouble Books & Mark McGuire

Note: I hardly ever do promo-photography. But, long time friends Trouble Books have a new collaboration record with Emeralds’ Mark McGuire. So, for the back cover of the record, we thought it would be fitting take a band photo. Our friends Matt & Hannah were gracious enough to let us use their lovely house for the location. Really happy with how these turned out, and can’t wait to hear the record when it’s finished.

Sailboat Press

In November, my first zine was published through a DIY, small-press called Sailboat Press, run by my good friend Tim. Now, he’s wrapping up the next two releases, and roped me in to help him fix up Sailboat’s web presence. I made my first custom tumblr template for the blog. Check out the new site, here.

Toddland <3′s C.S. Wagers (both of us)

I spent pretty much my entire childhood on 800 acres of farmland in Kentucky with my dad. I credit these experiences a lot towards the development of my preferred aesthetic within my work. My pops is one of the baddest-ass men I have ever met, and I’m proud to share the same name as him. So, it was perfect that I got his Christmas gifts from my pals over at Toddland. I picked him up a deer wallet, and a flannel, both of which he loved. Check out the smallest snippet of his huge collection of historic ephemera, indian artifacts, and taxidermy. Even the rad dudes at Toddland took the time to write a hilarious blog post about it. They may have stretched the truth for a good story; something my dad’s also known to do. Check it out, and huge thanks to Todd, Paul and Cliffy.
